The lyrics speak profoundly and personally about loneliness, abandonment, thoughts of suicide, end of youth, and a sea of other universal human themes, alongside themes as specific as what type of antidepressants are taken day to day. However, in the middle of this cruel reality, every song has a moment that makes us laugh and feel fine about things. Lázaro's voice does not come through as pitiful, but more like empathetic. Few songwriters manage to do this, in Mexico or any other country.
